Set visible of application process "Terminal" to false Immediately after that, terminal was hidden by another cue: tell application "System Events" This appeared twice in the show file, swapping out the IP and the q number for variable storage. This first block of code starts terminal and connects to one of the projectors. Cues “bot” and “top” refer to memo cues with those strings as cue numbers-the best way I’ve found of managing variables in QLab is by setting the q name of a memo cue to a variable and recalling it by its q number. The two projectors were connected to a unmanaged switch which ran direct to the show computer, the IP and port you see below represents one of the projectors on that network. I’ve used this on two productions: 33 Variations and The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other. The startup and configuration of terminal was managed, and the projectors were powered on, tested, and powered off all using QLab script cues. I wrote this script for a theater production where we were using two Digital Projections -branded projectors that can take TCP messages which tell them to do any of their menu functions (shutter, zoom, focus, etc.).
